Daily Scripture & Questions
Acts 9-10 Why were the believers afraid or skeptical of Saul's conversion?  Saul (whose Greek name would have been Paul) was powerfully used to prove that Jesus was the Christ (9:22).  Are you able to give a clear testimony of your conversion and then provide a solid defense of your faith?  The story line of Acts then returns to Peter's ministry.  Why would Peter's ministry among the Gentiles, including Cornelius, be so remarkable?  How does the paragraph of 10:34-43 capture the essence of the gospel message?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions
Read Acts 9:1-19. Who was Saul persecuting by attacking believers? Why was Ananias hesitant to go to Saul? What did the Lord say that Saul would do in his life (see verses 15-16)?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Psalm 94:12-13   Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O LORD,  and whom you teach out of your law, to give him rest from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked.

It is a wise person who is open to learning from God's discipline.  Ask the Lord to give you a tender and humble heart  that is ready to learn what He wants to teach you.  Seek the same for those who you protect in prayer (your protectorate).
