Daily Scripture & Questions
Matthew 21; Mark 11; John 12 Jesus openly declared Himself to be the son of David through His triumphal entry.  How does He then assert His authority?  How do the parables of the two sons and the tenants reinforce the same message to the religious leaders?  Jesus serves us by dying for us.  How is that a model for our lives of servanthood (see John 12:23-26)?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions

Read Matthew 21:28-46. Which of the two sons did the father's will? Do you sometimes talk better than you follow through and do? Why was the vineyard taken from the original tenants? What are the new tenants to do (verse 41)? Which kind of tenant are you more like?
Biblical Prayer Focus
Psalm 80:1-3
Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock.  You who are enthroned upon the cherubim, shine forth.  Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might and come to save us!  Restore us, O God; let your face shine, that we may be saved!

Especially on behalf of the persecuted church, pray for God's intervention for His people's sake.  Ask Him to stir up His might and save His people.  Pray for the soon return of Jesus.
