Ladies, be sure to join us on Thursday, December 21, for an hour of worshipping Jesus in quiet and stillness. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect Christmas gift right now? It is from 7:00-8:00 pm and it is being called “Simply Still.” Our Women’s Encounter group is hosting this, and they know you will love it.
Christmas Eve Service: Please join us for our Comfort and Joy Christmas Eve service at 4:30 pm.
New Year’s Eve Service: On Sunday, December 31, breakfast will be served at both services. Plan to join us!
Save the Date! January 21, 2024. Please plan to join the Central Asia team, after the second service, in the PowerHouse Building, for a light lunch and a time of sharing God’s answers to your prayers.
Christmas Office Hours: The TF office will be closed December 25-January 1. While staff may be working some during that time, they will be scheduling their work hours around their family gatherings. If you have a need during that week, please be sure to call the office and leave a message (231-796-2600). Someone will return your call as soon as possible.
Year-End Giving: To have an accurate account of your giving for 2023, please make sure that your year-end giving envelope is postmarked by December 30 or drop it in the offering box on December 31.
Elder Reaffirmation: Scott Landstra is requesting congregational input as he screens for another three-year term as an elder. Please review the Biblical qualifications (I Timothy 3:1-7; I Peter 5:1-3; Titus 1:5-9) with Scott in mind. If you have questions or concerns, please address them to Scott directly as to avoid miscommunication or misunderstanding. If approved by the screening committee, members will vote to re-affirm Scott at the next Congregational Meeting in April 2024.
