But We Know The Who
BUT WE KNOW THE WHO!
We often don't know the details of WHAT God is doing in our lives. But we know the WHO of our God Who is working all things together for good. The God Who gave us His Son, Who died for us even while we were still sinners. The God Who with His Son will give us all things we need for life and godliness.
We yearn to know the WHY, thinking that will make the challenges and pain easier to bear. But often the WHY about the specifics in our lives remains a mystery. But we know the WHO. We know the One Who always has a righteous and gracious WHY behind all that He does and allows in the lives of His beloved. And that includes His wise WHY for not answering our "Why?"
At times we struggle to know the WHERE of God's will for us. So many decisions and choices overwhelm us. But we know the WHO of the One Who has called us to Himself and Who promises never to leave us or forsake us, no matter WHERE we are. He is the One Who promises to liberally give us His wisdom from above so that we can know to do "the next right thing."
Amidst the questions, we find ourselves wondering HOW God will fulfill His promises to give us peace, heal us, and wipe all our tears away. But we know the WHO of our God Who may give us a miracle of healing, or use the doctors He has provided, or call us home and at the right time give us a glorious resurrected body. He WHO began a good work in us will complete it! He is the One Who has given us "the BIG H Hope" of the first-fruit resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
