Sunday, May 14, 2023, Weekly Announcements

Baptismal Service: A lake baptism is scheduled for June 24, at CranHill Ranch. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office at (231) 796-2600 or email baptism@trinityinfo.org.  It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate.

Trinity Kids:  Summer is right around the corner and Trinity Kids is winding down the school year AND gearing up for summer.  Parents, please join us today, May 14, for a TKids Summer Orientation. This will give you a sneak peek at what is coming, including this year’s Super Scoops and Summer Playdates, and get us ready for the annual Big Shrink. Parents and Teens this is your chance to step in and give our TK Team a break by choosing a few Sundays to serve. So, take a look at your summer plans and let us know how many Sundays you can be a part of our TK Summer Team. The orientation will take place between services in Pier 17. More information in the Parent Baton.

Teens:  Wondering if TKids is a place where you can serve? Stay tuned for a special training day just for you. Summer is a great time to try serving on the TKids team. It's a short-term commitment to see if it's the right fit for you.

Nursery Help Needed: TKids is in need of help for 1st and 2nd service Nursery for the entire month of May as we are short on volunteers with availability. Volunteers must be cleared through our Ministry Safe process. Please consider blessing young families by joining the nursery team.

Spring Seminars - How to Become Biblical Peace Makers Bringing Jesus into our Relational Messes (and helping others do so as well):  Join Pastor Gary in person or online on Wednesday, May 17, pm for Session 4, “Exposing the Styles of Conflict Management.”

Piano/Keyboard Players Needed for Worship Ministries:  If you play piano or have played in the past but are a little rusty, we really could use you to help bless the Sunday attenders at Trinity Fellowship.  We're very short on pianists and really need you.  Please contact Pastor Scott to get plugged in.  scottbarger@trinityinfo.org

Building and Grounds:  May 20 will be a special, earth-shaking day. If you have a tractor, backhoe, bobcat, skid steer, or basically anything that moves dirt, we could really use your help. We are hoping to get 8 or 10 people with equipment to help us move a mountain (at least it seems like a mountain). We have about 70 yards of topsoil to spread around the fire pit area and then there are 2 or 3 oodles of clay that needs to be spread in the field to the east of the soccer field to fill in some areas needed. Fuel, coffee, and donuts will be provided along with heartfelt gratitude. We will reschedule if there is rain as we need dry ground to complete the work. If you have brothers in faith, in your circle of friends, that might have the proper equipment, please share this special day with them as well. Please remember this in prayer!

Community Senior Enrichment Day:  Wednesday, June 28 (sign up by June 3).  Cost:  $13 (includes lunch).  Brochures are available in the office.

Mecosta/Osceola Right to Life, Inc. will have roses for a $1.50 donation each, in the foyer, after the services today.
