Elder Re-affirmation: Elders Bill Routley and Toby Vance request congregational input as each screens for another three-year term as elder. Their biography and contact information are on our website. Please give your affirmations or concerns directly to Bill and Toby before they meet with the Screening Committee in late-October or early November. If the Screening Committee approves, congregation members will then vote at the congregational meeting on November 21. You may also contact Screening Committee members. Paper copies of elder qualifications (Based on I Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9; I Peter 5:1-3) are available at the Information Desk.
Childcare Exploration Committee: A group has formed to explore the possibility of hosting a Christian Childcare Center in our building. If you have skills that could help us look at the possibilities and roadblocks, please consider joining the team. If you know someone in our community of faith that has the skills and education to be a director of such an enterprise, please encourage them to join the team. In addition to people with experience in childcare, skills in business, accounting, and building are desired on this team. Email kids@trinityinfo.org to express interest, contact Connie Lossing (Children's Ministry Director) or speak Pastor John Angell.
A Child Dedication Service is being planned for November 21. We use this as an opportunity to equip parents. If you are interested, please email childdedication@trinityinfo.org as soon as possible.
Operation Christmas Child: Be sure to pick up a shoe box and follow the instructions regarding how to pack the box. Include a check for $9 for shipping and return the box to Trinity Fellowship no later than November 21.
Baptism: If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office as soon as possible. It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate. The next baptismal service is planned for Sunday, December 5.
FALL BACK: Be sure to set your clocks BACK one hour next Saturday night. Daylight savings time ends next Sunday, November 7.
