Is the Church Office Open? While there may be some staff in the office during the week, many are working at home to limit the amount of traffic in and out of the building (for Covid-19 cleaning purposes). If you need to get into the building during the week, please call ahead to make sure someone is in the office. If you leave a message, someone will call you back as soon as possible.

Try It Tuesday:  Learn how to decorate two cupcakes like the gourmet treats at Newal’s Mediterranean Grille (14253 Northland Drive, Big Rapids) on April 20, at 7:00 pm.  Cost is $10.  Class is limited to 10. RSVP by April 13 to Katie at 615-540-5466.

Elder Affirmation/Reaffirmation:  The Screening Committee has met with Joe Gardner, Scott Landstra, and Steve Wheeler and is unanimously presenting their names to the congregation for affirmation/reaffirmation as Elders.  If you have questions or concerns, please address them directly as to avoid miscommunication or misunderstanding.  Members will vote to affirm Joe and Scott and reaffirm Steve at the next Congregational Meeting on Sunday, April 25.

Child Dedication:  A Child Dedication service is scheduled for Mother's Day, May 9, 2021, at Trinity Fellowship (Big Rapids campus).  Parenting is an amazing adventure and a sacred responsibility. Participation in a child dedication service provides families with an opportunity to join with other families as they covenant to raise their children under the Word. Similarly, the congregation (and invited friends and family) also pledge to support families on their journey. A meeting with one of our elders will be scheduled before dedicating your child(ren). Participating families are encouraged to prepare for the service by either: (1) participating in the five-week Intentional Parenting Group scheduled to begin April 11 or (2) going through the "Family Tool Time - Becoming an Intentional, Godly Parent" materials. The sermon series connected to this is linked in the Resource area of the Trinity Kids website, https://www.trinityinfo.org/kids  (Look for Green Bar - "Becoming an Intentional Godly Parent.”) If your family is interested in participating in Trinity's child dedication, please call Connie at the church office or email her at ConnieLossing@trinityinfo.org.

Fill the Chest and Donate the Rest!    Life Resources of Northern Michigan is having an online auction, and we would like to support them and their auction by filling up a chest of drawers with newborn clothing, diapers, and other baby needs on April 11 and 18. The chest will be one of the items up for auction!  All of the clothing, diapers and baby items will be donated to Life Resources! Join the online auction for Life Resources and bid on the chest of drawers or something else that strikes your fancy!  Life Resources Online Auction bidding will begin on Monday, April 19, at 12:00 pm and will close at 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, April 20.  For more information, go to https://liferesourcesnm.org, click on the “Auction” tab.
