Daily Scripture & Questions
Psalm 56, 120, 140-142 As we trust God in the midst of personal attacks, remember that He is not calloused to our pain.  He puts our tears in His bottle (Psalm 56:8).  The psalmist seeks for living out of love and peace, but others just seem to want war.  Give the Lord the anguish of your current conflict situations. When we are under attack and it feels like no one cares for our soul (Psalm 142:4), how should we pray (Psalm 141:3-4)?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions
Read Psalm 141:1-4. People were trying to hurt King David, and he prayed for God's help. What else did He pray for? When do the things we say seem to get us into trouble?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Philippians 1:7-8
"It is right for me to feel this way about you all, because I hold you in my heart, for you are all partakers with me of grace, both in my imprisonment and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel. For God is my witness, how I yearn for you all with the affection of Christ Jesus."

Pray that God fill you with the affection of Christ Jesus for those who stand with you for the sake of the gospel.
