Special Kids: "Let the children come to me." says Jesus. But how do our volunteers (who are not specialists) serve kids and families with kids with higher needs? Autism is on the rise. ADHD, kids with sensory issues, medical issues. Teachers are reporting that COVID has increased anxiety and anti-social behavior. And then there are foster families with kids who have been traumatized. So many needs it can be overwhelming, but God is bigger. His arm is not too short. If you have skills in this area (or just a heart that has compassion for these families), would you be willing to help us consider how we can do better at welcoming these families and their kiddos?
