Daily Scripture & Questions
Psalms 1-2, 15, 22-24, 47, 68 The great promise of God to David in II Samuel 7 (that we will read in a few days) is behind many of the psalms about the king.  Note how often the praises and accolades are too "big" or too "great" to merely be about an earthly king like David.  Ask the Lord to use Psalms 15 and 24 to do a check-up on your life . . . do you have clean hands and a pure heart?

Family Devotions-Scripture & Questions
Read Psalm 1.  In the end, how many ways are there to live?  How are you living like the “blessed man”?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Psalm 38:15-18 But for you, O LORD, do I wait; it is you, O Lord my God, who will answer.  For I said, “Only let them not rejoice over me, who boast against me when my foot slips!”  For I am ready to fall, and my pain is ever before me.  I confess my iniquity; I am sorry for my sin.

The forces of darkness want to see us slip and fall. Seek God's protection, asking that He would help you stand firmly on the rock of Jesus Christ. Ask that the Lord keep your heart tender and humble, so that when He shows you sin in your life that you will be quick to confess it and get rid of it. Pray this for your protectorate as well.
