Read II Samuel 6:5-15. The commands for carrying the Ark were given specifically in the Law (using long poles). Why was Uzzah struck down? How did David react? Do you ever get sloppy in following God's commands, thinking that this will be "good enough”?

Psalm 5:7-8 But I, through the abundance of your steadfast love, will enter your house. I will bow down toward your holy temple in the fear of you. Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.
Beseech God for yourself and those you pray for that He would make your paths straight. Ask that you would clearly know His will and then have the strength and courage to stay with it. Request from Him that He fill your heart with a reverent fear, an awe at His holiness AND that you might be filled with gratitude for His kindness and abundant love.
