Daily Scripture & Questions
Ezekiel 38-39 The identity of Gog and the nation he rules, Magog, is uncertain.  The reference in Revelation 20:8 suggests that he is a future leader who will attack God's people—one that God completely destroys.  "In the latter days" this enemy from the north will come, but what will God vindicate (see 38:16)?  What is included in the purpose of this great victory (see 38:23; 39:7, 13, 23, 19)?

Family Devotions-Scripture & Questions
Read Ezekiel 39:1-6, 21-24. God will fight and completely defeat what mysterious enemy? While we can't identify this enemy in detail, it is clear that God wants to make evident why Israel went into captivity. Was it because God was too weak to protect His people (see verse 23)? Remember, the most important thing is to stay in fellowship with God (see 39:23 and 39:29).

Biblical Prayer Focus
Jude 24-25   "Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen."

Give expressions of praise to God and His Son, Jesus.  Entrust yourself, and those you are praying for, into His strong hands, asking that He would hold on to you and keep you from stumbling even when you don't have the strength to hold on to Him.   Give Him praise that He is the One who began a good work in us and will bring it to completion.
