The promises of the Holy Spirit (v. 27) are fulfilled under the new covenant brought about by Jesus. Can we live really new lives apart from the renewing work of the Holy Spirit within us?

Pray that you will be open to correction and have a teachable spirit and not slip into becoming part of that which is evil.
