Daily Scripture & Questions
Jeremiah 49-50 In chapter 49, we read about God's judgment on a number of nations through Babylon's conquests, but then in chapter 50 we hear the prophecy of Babylon's fall.  What were some of the reasons the nations were punished (49:4, 16)?  Why was Babylon destroyed (50:24-29, 31)?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions
Read Jeremiah 50:1-7, 20. Jeremiah prophesies about Babylon who will take Israel away into captivity. Will they always be the oppressors? Most of Jeremiah 50 is about Babylon's future fall. What do our verses tell us about the hope for God's people?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Mark 11:24-25
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses."

Make sure you have forgiven others and ask the Lord to help you have faith to believe, confident that He wants to give you what is best for you.
