Jeremiah 7-9 What were the deceptive words in which the people placed their trust (7:4, 8)?  Does God's counsel to not pray for the people indicate a point of no return (7:16)?  Why do the people feel comfortable saying that the Law of the Lord is with them (8:8)?  What does it mean to heal the wound lightly (8:11)?  Note how Jeremiah is filled with grief with the message of judgment (8:18-9:3)?  Are our eyes filled with tears when we have to speak of the reality of Hell?

Hebrews 13:20-21  "Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant,  equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen."
           
Praise God for the resurrection of Jesus. Rejoice in His shed blood that provides the eternal covenant we can have with God. Ask for His equipping today -- that you and those you pray for may have exactly what you need to be able to do what God is showing you all to do.
