Daily Scripture & Questions
Psalm 121, 123-125, 128,130 These are all psalms of ascent that would have been sung on the way to Jerusalem for the various feasts at the tabernacle and later at the temple.  On your journey through life, how has God been your keeper (Psalm 121), the One toward Whom you have turned your eyes (Psalm 123), the One on your side (Psalm 124), the One who surrounds His people (Psalm 125)?  If you are a grandparent, consider yourself blessed (see 128:6).  Wait for the Lord this morning and rejoice that He offers us forgiveness through Jesus Christ (see Psalm 130).

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions
Read Psalm 123. What are the different ways that you can think of that people use hand signals? For these signals to work, what has to be happening all the time? Are you keeping your eyes on the Lord? How so?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Philippians 4:4-7
"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Since Jesus' coming is soon, be honest with God about the things that are making you anxious. Ask Him to help you give Him, through prayer, all the stuff of life on your mind and heart.
