Daily Scripture & Questions
1 Samuel 21-24 It was clearly told to Saul that he would not remain as king, yet he fights to hold on to his portion, as he thinks it is, even to kill God's anointed, David.  Are we in danger of fighting to hold on to something that God has made clear that it is no longer ours to have?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions
Read I Samuel 24:1-22. Why wouldn't David hurt Saul (verse 6)? How can you leave room for God to avenge you and not seek your own revenge?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Philippians 1:3-6
"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine for you all making my prayer with joy, because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now. And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ."

Rejoice in those who have worked with you for the cause of Christ's kingdom. Pray that the Lord would complete the work He began in you and those for whom He has asked you to pray.
