1 Samuel 18-20; Psalm 11 & 59 What lessons of friendship are found in the relationship between Jonathan and David? Why did Saul so despise David? If there are people that you have begun to despise, are there any parallels between you and Saul? How do the psalms of David encourage you in your response to the "howling dogs" that may be surrounding you?

Psalm 139:23-24 "Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!"
Sin creeps up on us. Wrong thinking leads to wrong doing. Be quiet before the Lord and ask Him to show you if there are any unconfessed sins in your life. Ask Him to expose any unbiblical thoughts that will send you down the wrong path.
