Judges 16-18 Would you know when you are not walking in step with the Spirit (see Galatians 5:16-25)? Ask the Lord to empower you to serve Him. How are the events of chapters 17 and 18 an example of being religious in a manner that seems right in our own eyes but not in God's eyes?

Psalm 94:12-13 "Blessed is the man whom you discipline, O LORD, and whom you teach out of your law, to give him rest from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked."
It is a wise person who is open to learning from God's discipline. Ask the Lord to give you a tender and humble heart that is ready to learn what He wants to teach you. Seek the same for those who you protect in prayer (your protectorate).
