Daily Scripture & Questions
Judges 13-15 The story of Samson reminds us that God can use, for His purposes, whomever He wills.  What actions and attitudes of Sampson should we not take as examples for our lives?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions
Read Judges 15:9-17. Why would God's people (the men of Judah) not want Sampson to cause trouble with their enemies who ruled over them (the Philistines)? Would you rather have the trouble you know or the victory for which you can only hope?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Ephesians 6:10-12
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places."

Ask for clarity to see the devil's schemes for what they are and for the Spirit's power to do battle with those that we cannot see.
