Daily Scripture & Question
Numbers 31-32 God will take care of His own.  Read Romans 12:17-21 about how we are to deal with vengeance today.  Why would it seem that Reuben and Gad were happy to "get their own" and then abandon the rest of the people of God?  Does that kind of thing still happen today?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions
Read Numbers 32:20-27. The tribes of Reuben and Gad were going to settle in the land of Gilead. They were allowed to do so as long as they promised what? If they didn't, what does verse 23 tell us what would happened?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Psalm 32:5
"I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, 'I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,' and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah"

Sin creeps up on us.  Ask the Spirit to show you any unconfessed sin and then confess (agree with God that it is wrong).  Then express your rejoicing at God's forgiveness through Christ.
