Daily Scripture & Questions
Numbers 23-25 Sometimes we are afraid of the power of the forces of darkness.  What comfort can we gain from Balaam's inability to curse the people of God?  Followers of God are safe from the enemies without, unless we let the enemies within destroy us.  Do you need the "zeal of Phinehas" in dealing with some sin in your life right now?

Family Devotions—Scripture & Questions
Read Numbers 25:1-9. Sometimes we think that we can be friends with God and with the world's way of doing things. How does God describe this problem in these verses? How can we have a Phinehas kind of zeal in our lives?

Biblical Prayer Focus
Mark 11:24-25
"Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

Make sure you have forgiven others and ask the Lord to help you have faith to believe, confident that He wants to give you what is best for you.
