Read Leviticus 14:1-9. Leprosy in the Old Testament times included lots of different skin diseases. God wanted to make sure the diseases were not passed on to others. Do our bad attitudes and bitter spirits "infect" other people? How can we be cleansed from these "diseases"?
Biblical Prayer Focus
I Timothy 2:1-4 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Pray for those in authority over us. Ask for the opportunity to live peaceful and quiet lives that reflect in every way that we walk with God. Beseech God that our lives might be part of a convincing testimony to a cynical world.
