What to Expect
WELCOME TO TRINITY FELLOWSHIP
Whether you are coming to church for the first time, or you attend on a regular basis, we trust that your experience will be one that helps you grow in your journey and relationship with God.
There are two Sunday morning worship service times, 9:00 and 10:45, and each lasts about one hour and 15 minutes. Both services are the same content, including music with a contemporary feel (guitar, keyboard, drums and vocalists) and a relevant message from the Bible. Attendance ranges from around 200 to 400, depending on which service and week you attend.
To help you with any uncertainty in a new situation, here are a few things you can expect:
On Sunday mornings friendly people will greet you at the door and help you find your way.
If you have children, there is a check-in counter near the main (East) entrance. A lot of loving people will be there to help your child(ren) have a safe and fun time as they learn about the God who created them and loves them. Nursery (birth-3 years old) is available during both services and all year. From September through May there are nurseries and classes for children Preschool through 3rd grade during the 9:00 worship service. Full programming for children and teens (Preschool through High School) is offered in the 10:45 time block. At 10:45 the teens meet for a time of worship in a building affectionately called the OUTBACK (because it is located "out back" of the main building) and then return with their teachers to the main building for classes. (Class options are slightly different during the summer months.)
You are invited to grab a cup of coffee, tea or cold beverage and a freshly baked cookie. Refreshment areas are located down both of the side hallways.
Most people dress casually, but you will find people wearing anything from jeans and tee-shirts to men in suits and women in modest dresses (although most wear slacks).
An offering is rarely, if ever, taken during the worship service so there is no sense of obligation for our guests. There are boxes located at the back of the room for those who want to contribute to the ministry at Trinity Fellowship.
You won't be singled out as a visitor (asked to raise your hand or stand, etc.). When you are ready, we can help you and your family get connected with opportunities beyond the worship service. You can request more information by filling out a newcomer card. Cards are located on the Information Board by the main entrance or in the registers that are passed during the worship service. Or, you can call (231) 796-2600 during office hours for more information.
If you haven't watched the Welcome Video yet, it will give you an idea of what to expect when you enter the building and a quick highlight of the worship service and some other ministries. If there is some other way we can help prepare you for your visit, don't hesitate to call (231) 796-2600 during office hours.
