Pastoral Counseling
When needed, this is an initial contact with a pastor or an elder of our church, in order to discuss the situation and agree together on a care plan. This care plan might include one or more of the Care Ministries or other ministries of Trinity Fellowship, or various service(s) of our community. Pastoral Counseling may be offered for one of two goals:
- To give biblical counsel in what to do, or
- To give wisdom and practical guidance in how to proceed
If counseling is needed beyond three sessions, or is beyond the scope or limits of Pastoral Counseling, this will be referred out to a professional counselor of the person's choosing, with a list of contacts provided.
