Sunday, October 29, 2023, Weekly Announcements

Baptism: If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please contact the office at (231) 796-2600 or email baptism@trinityinfo.org.  It is required that you meet with one of the pastors/elders and discuss what baptism means before you will be considered as a candidate.

Congregational Assessment Tool:  Today is the final day for submitting your input to our Congregational Assessment Tool to help the Elders with the Senior Pastor transition planning process.  We are using an online church health assessment called the Congregational Assessment Tool and the link will remain active until midnight tonight!  Your responses will help us to accurately understand our church culture and will provide a foundation for our Senior Pastor transition plan.  If you do not utilize email, paper copies are available in the foyer and may be completed and returned before you leave church today.  Your input is critical to the process.

POWERHOUSE Fundraiser:
Mark your calendars for November 5, from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The youth will be preparing and serving a meal.  There will also be game show style entertainment.  Funds raised will be used for their summer events and trips.

CranHill Ranch will be hosting Trinity Fellowship's Annual Family Camp! Reserve your campsite now. (The QR code and link are in the Scoop.) Reservations need to be made by November 15, 2023.  If you need assistance navigating the website or have questions, please call Emily at 231-796-7669 or email her at emily@cranhillranch.com.

Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child:
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations. Pick up a box (you can also use a standard size shoe box or a plastic shoe box) in the foyer, along with the directions flyer on how to pack your box.  A $10 donation per shoebox is critical to cover shipping and other project costs.  For easiest processing you can give online or give by check using the attached postage paid envelope on the flyer.  Fill your box and return it to Trinity Fellowship by November 12.  After that, boxes will need to be taken to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Big Rapids, from November 13-20. Call St. Peter’s for drop off times at (231) 796-6684.

March for Life in Lansing on November 8:  A rally will begin at 11:00 am and the march will be at 12:00 pm.  Mecosta/Osceola County Right to Life, Inc. has made arrangements with Manistee Right to Life to have a bus pick up participants at 8:40 am in the Trinity Fellowship parking lot.  Cost is $30 per person, $10 per student.  RSVPs must be made by November 1.  Call Kathie at (231) 796-3931 for more information.
